Excuses, Excuses...

You may be wondering why I haven't posted any pictures yet. Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook know that I am generally VERY quick to put up pics (especially when I am in them and look good). The lack of pictures on here, however, has less to do with the fact that I have no one to document my hotness in India, and is mainly because I have done nothing besides work since I arrived. The picture above was taken on my ride into work yesterday and is admittedly not very exciting. Without going in to details (confidentiality issues, people!), suffice it to say that I arrived just in time for a very important, time sensitive project, and I got thrown right into it the moment I arrived at work on Monday. I hadn't even filled out my employment paperwork when I found myself sitting in on critical global conference calls!

For the next week, I am going to be very tied up with this, and working very late hours. We are required to be available on EST, so I was at my office until 4:00am last night (this morning). So bear with me on the picture thing. And I haven't called you because I still don't have a phone, and have not had the chance to go to any stores where I could buy a phone card. It will happen soon, I promise.

I did get to see an apartment yesterday before work, and have decided to take it without shopping around. The two other U.S.-licensed project managers live in this building, so I will have people around that I know, which is a HUGE plus. The apartment itself is fairly large - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, balcony, washer, etc. It is in a cute neighborhood, and is very bright and open. The furniture is slightly odd-looking, but it has charm. And, it comes out to being roughly $367/a month in USD. I am supposed to be moving in tomorrow. I PROMISE to post lots of pictures when I get there!!!
