This song is constantly playing on the radio. In case you can't tell from the swigging/belly rubbing dance moves, it's basically all about getting drunk. And since most "nice" Indian girls don't drink, it's also supposed to be somewhat scandalous, which is a big draw for me. The best part is when the dude in the sunglasses shows up and busts a move. I'm going to try to post more music videos as I learn the name of songs.
Also, and more importantly, one of my neighbors is now keeping a large monkey in a cage in their driveway! I saw it and it looked at me. Don't worry, I will try to get a picture of this next time I walk by. It was too dark last night when we first met.
From that attached article:
ReplyDelete""Very honestly, we need to stop wagging our fingers at other people. Why can't a woman lose control in a pub and freak out? Is that the prerogative of men only? I neither drink nor smoke. But I see nothing wrong with people who do. As long as you don't drive when you drink, what's wrong with having a few drinks and creating some masti?"
What is masti? The article also talks about doing it behind bushes, which is cool.
Masti means fun and also can mean being high, I think. They have Masala Masti flavored potato chips at work, that either are spicy fun or spicy high, depending on the real meaning of that word.
ReplyDeleteAll the girls at work say that this song is very naughty and that you can enjoy it in the presence of your friends, but your family would disapprove.
um, they're not gonna eat the monkeys...are they?
